If you like books about the southwest or books are on your Christmas list this year, check out the Holiday Bookfair at the Arizona Historical Society Museum downtown. Dozens of local and regional authors highlighting recent publications by the Arizona Historical Society, the University of Arizona Press, and Rio Nuevo Press, as well as other publishers of Southwestern books. This event is part of the Southwest Literature Project and is co-sponsored by the Arizona Historical Society, the Pima Public Library, and the Friends of the Tucson-Pima Public Library. Featured books will be 20% off, there will an Author's Reception and items in the Mercantile will be 10% off. Looks like a fun event.
